How to begin your Bespoke Design Process

FWC’s design process begins with a comprehensive exploration of your goals. What story do you want to tell? How do you want the readers to feel? What images do you want to evoke in their minds?

In the next step, FWC’s team will present a series of inspirational ideas in a storyboard format, including style, typography, photography, and illustration. Once a “winner” is selected, the focus will be placed on the physical elements of the book such as page size, paper stocks, cover materials, binding technique, and other exciting considerations. A presentation is then developed to further refine the vision and proceed to the book design phase.
